Empty Bowl Soup Luncheon

Every October, this committee sponsors the Empty Soup Bowl Luncheon as a major fund-raising activity for Chapter activities like the Back-Pack Program.

Luncheon attendees enjoy delicious donated soups and desserts from the Seward County area. Each ticket holder also receives a hand-crafted pottery bowl of their choice, donated by Down Under Pottery. The pottery bowl symbolizes a child’s empty bowl and serves as a reminder of all the backpacks we send home each week with food and food vouchers for eligible children and families in the Seward Community.
